The Synergy of the Centre

The Centre provides the focus for staff from disparate disciplines and experiences to come together for one common goal. To promote synergy three guiding principles are adopted.

• Activity draws upon theory, concepts and procedures from many disciplines whilst focusing on the single theme of Computing and Social Responsibility.
• All related activities within the Faculty of Computing Sciences and Engineering are undertaken through the Centre.
• Members from other schools undertaking related activities are invited to undertake them under the Centre's name.
