Call for Papers

Yunnan University, Kunming , China

April 2-3, 2007

Call for Participation

The ETHICOMP name is synonymous with an international inclusive dialogue concerning the ethical and social issues associated with the development and application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Since 1995 there have been conferences, workshops and reports under the ETHICOMP umbrella. All have been organised by the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility of De Montfort University in the UK in collaboration with other universities around the world.

The ETHICOMP Working Conference 2007 is a new venture designed to promote ICT ethics and social impact activity in academia within regions of the world where currently such activity is relatively limited. It is fitting that the first one will be held at Yunnan University in China. The ETHICOMP Working Conferences will include position papers, case studies, posters, tutorials, workshops and demonstrations.
