During the conference, it is likely to arrange the delegates to pay a visit to DALI, LiJiang and Shangri-La by air, which are famous travelling spots of Yunnan Province. It will take you seven or five days. The journey will cost you $335 or so (Pay by the participant selves).

• KUNMING/DALI (2100 meters above the sea level)

Fly to Dali in the morning, 30 minutes. Visit Three Pagodas and cruise on Erhai. Free time for discovering the old town Dali.
Overnight at LIJIANG.

• DALI/LIJIANG (2500 meters above the sea level)

Drive to Lijiang, 180 KM, 3 hours. Visit Black Dragon Pond with Dongba Museum, Palace of family Mu, Longquan Naxi village and old town
Lijiang. Overnight at LIJIANG.

• LIJIANG/Lugu Lake

LuGu Lake,appreciate Small LiangSHan Mountain view. Arrive at LuGu Lake after supper,take part in Jiacuo Ti needfire evening party. Overnight at LuGu Lake Mosuo folk residence.

• Lugu Lake/LIJIANG

Cruise LuGu Lake after breakfast, step on Liwubi Island,visit lamasery and Mosuo Matriarchal big family. Drive back to LiJiang. Overnight at LiJiang.

• LIJIANG

Visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountains, Yushui village of Naxi minority and Baisha Frescos. Overnight at LIJIANG.

• LIJIANG/Shangri-La

Drive 200 KM northern to Zhongdian, 5 hours. On the way visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, first bend of Yangzi River. Overnight at Shangri-La.

• ZHONGDIAN/KUNMING

Visit Ganden Songzanglin Monastery in the morning, then excurse to Bita Lake, visit Dabao Monastery with village of Tibetan. Fly back to Kunming in the evening, 50 minutes.

Another itinerary is Kunming-JianShui-YuanYang. The journey will cost you three days and $100 or so.

• KUNMING/JIANSHUI

Drive to JianShui in the morning. JianShui, 220 kilometers south of Kunming, is a state historic and cultural city. Moreover, it is one of the earliest developed cities in south YunNan that enjoys the fame of being an ancient cultural city and important gateway. Overnight at Jianshui.

• JIANSHUI/YUANYANG

Drive to YuanYang in the morning. The Ailao Mountain Range is a branch of the Yunling Mountains. Its highest peak is 3165 meters above see level. The best place to view the terraced field is in the south of YuanYang County. Overnight at YuanYang.
