Introduction To Computer Ethics

Abstract

This tutorial will be an interactive introduction to the field of Computer Ethics. It will include a survey of the history of Computer Ethics, a discussion of the works and ideas of some of the key thinkers in the field, and a review of major topics and "hot" issues. Participants will receive printed materials, as well as a set of PowerPoint slides. A brief introductory lecture will be followed by discussions in which participants can raise the computer ethics questions that interest them the most and also share their own ideas with fellow participants in the tutorial.
